HFL is a furniture manufacturer that sells directly to the people who live with the result — homeowners, interior designers, builders and developers. No showroom, no reseller, no markup on top of markup.
The first order wasn't a business plan. It was a room with a sloped ceiling and a chimney breast, three quotes that all said "we'll box it in", and a decision to just draw it properly and build it ourselves.
That job taught us where the value actually sits: not in the material, not in the finish, but in the measurement and the drawing. Get those right and an ordinary panel becomes furniture that looks like it grew out of the house. Get them wrong and the best materials in the world still leave a gap you'll stare at for a decade.
Today we run our own production facility and ship finished rooms to customers in dozens of countries. The process is still the same as that first job: measure what's there, draw it in 3D, get approval, then cut.
These aren't marketing lines — each one costs us money somewhere. They're the reason customers come back for the second room.
No deposit to see the design, and nothing goes into production until you've approved both the drawing and the final measurement sheet. It slows us down and we do it anyway.
Every quote lists units, panels, hardware, worktop and freight as separate lines. If something is expensive, you can see it and decide whether you want it.
If the budget doesn't match the design, or a material won't survive your climate, we say so before you pay — not after the crate arrives.
The person who quotes your job is the person who answers your emails six months later. No ticket queue, no handover between departments.
One room at a time, usually starting with the kitchen or a wardrobe that doesn't fit. You get a 3D design, a fixed price, and a delivery date before you commit.
Send drawings or a mood board. We spec the boards, hardware and finish, then produce to your design intent with sample panels first.
Phased delivery to match your programme, numbered panels matched to the installation drawing, and replacements shipped fast when site conditions change.
Repeat units cut to identical measurements, fixed specification, and consolidated crating to keep cost per unit down across the whole project.
Buying custom furniture from another country isn't the same as buying it from a shop down the road. Here's the honest version, so nothing surprises you later.
Four to six weeks of production plus freight time. If you need a kitchen installed next month, we're the wrong supplier and we'll tell you that on day one.
We can't send a surveyor to your house. We prepare the measurement sheet and check it with you, but the tape measure is in your hands.
Import tax and local charges sit with you, and they vary by country. Ask us first and we'll tell you what to expect.
A wardrobe cut for your alcove fits no one else's. That's why the approval step is strict — and why the design is free until you're sure.
Even if it's just a rough idea and a photo of a wall, we can tell you whether it's possible, what it would cost, and how long it would take.
